SimReady Central Library provides access to over 2 000 models for robotics and AI infrastructure simulations
SimReady Central Library offers over 2 000 models in OpenUSD format on Hugging Face, free of charge and with no access approval required. It includes robotic arms, grippers and equipment for digital twins of AI infrastructure.
SimReady Central Library is available on Hugging Face with more than 2 000 simulation-ready models in OpenUSD format. Access is free and requires no approval. The collection includes robotic arms, grippers, warehouse equipment, server racks and cooling infrastructure.
The models include properties needed for specific simulation tasks, such as mass, geometry for collision calculations, friction or data on joints and their motion limits. Supported properties depend on the specific model and its SimReady profile. Developers can check which properties are supported and combine models from different suppliers into scenes for training and evaluating robots or for digital twins of AI infrastructure.
Equipment manufacturers can prepare models from their CAD source data, validate them against the relevant SimReady profiles and submit them for inclusion in the library. The specifications, profiles and validation tools from SimReady Foundation define the requirements for individual use cases.
Why it matters
Equipment geometry alone is not enough for physics simulation. The library provides models with added simulation properties, allowing them to serve as a basis for environments for robotic tasks and for comparing AI infrastructure layouts. Suitability for a specific scenario must be assessed against the supported profile of each model.
Two audiences, two different impacts
What this means
For individuals
A robotics simulation developer can select ready-made arms, grippers and equipment based on the properties needed for their task and combine them in a single scene.
For a business
Equipment manufacturers gain a distribution channel for simulation models of their products. Using it involves preparing CAD source data, validating the required properties and submitting models to the library.
