Meta adds Spaces feature to Muse app for AI-generated personalized spaces
Meta has launched a feature called Spaces in the Muse app – a user describes their idea, and the AI turns it into a custom interactive space that can be further edited and connected to other apps.
Meta has introduced a new feature called spaces into the Muse app. It's a way to create your own space inside the app by describing an idea – according to the company, this could be, for example, tracking Christmas gifts, a daily word game, or a planning board for a DIY project. The created space becomes a permanent part of the Muse app, and the user can continue to edit it, add missing features, or change its appearance or how it works.
Users can choose where their spaces appear within the app – they can be placed in the sidebar, moved between main tabs, hidden, or scheduled to appear at specific times (for example, a work planner during the week and a weekend plan on Saturday). According to the company, spaces can be connected to other apps, so content updates automatically in the background – new data about concerts, price changes, or savings progress appears without the user having to request it.
The spaces feature is available starting today everywhere the Muse app is offered. Meta also states that it is deploying specialized versions of its models in the app, trained with insights from the Muse Wonder project, which according to the company should further improve the overall experience. Meta is also exploring the possibility of sharing spaces between users to create a more collaborative environment within the app.
Why it matters
The feature allows ordinary users to create their own simple tools (task tracking, planners, trackers) without programming, simply by describing the requirement in natural language, and these tools update automatically from connected apps. It is a consumer feature with no documented enterprise or API aspects.

What this means
For individuals
A user can describe a simple idea in the Muse app (a planner, tracker, game) and the AI will turn it into a functional space that can be further edited, placed as needed, and connected to other apps for automatic data updates.
