Gemini app adds a library of interactive visual guides
A library of visual guides is available to all users in the Gemini app, allowing them to explore topics layer by layer and open details using labels. Access is through the student center; users with Czech selected see the English version.
Google has made a library of interactive visual guides available in the Gemini app. According to Google, they let users explore topics layer by layer and tap labels to open more details. Examples include the trade routes of the Silk Road, the internal layout of a jet engine and the physics of lightning. The library is accessible in the student center through the “Try immersive explorations” option.
The feature is available to all users in English, Indonesian, Hindi, Brazilian Portuguese, French and Simplified Chinese. For other languages, including Czech, the English version is displayed for now. Google plans to add more languages, audio narration and access to the guides directly from conversations; it has not provided a timeline.
Why it matters
When studying, you can explore a visual scene from an overview down to individual details and use labels to choose further explanations. For Czech users, using the guides currently requires an understanding of English; audio explanations are still to come.
Relevant practical impact
What this means
For individuals
When studying on your own, you can use the ready-made guides to explore a jet engine or the physics of lightning, for example, and follow the details that interest you.
