Anthropic adds organization webhooks to Admin API in beta

clearly official source

Admin API from Anthropic now supports notifications about restrictions or bans on user profiles within an organization and the removal of those measures. The feature is in beta, and access requires a request to the customer team.

Anthropic has added organization webhooks to Admin API: automated notifications sent to registered addresses. They support two types of events: the restriction or banning of an organization’s user profile, and the removal of such a restriction or ban.

The /v1/organizations/webhooks endpoint is used to register notification recipients. The feature is available in beta, requires the webhooks-2026-10-07 header, and access must be requested from the customer team at Anthropic.

What changed

Why it matters

Organization administrators can connect the notifications to internal systems and respond to changes in user profile restrictions. They receive information both when a measure takes effect and when it ends.
