Anthropic has made the Dashboards feature in Claude available in beta to paying users. The feature creates live data dashboards from text prompts and supports connections to BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake and Salesforce data sources.
According to Anthropic, the dashboards update automatically, and each displayed figure provides access to its underlying query. The company says results can be passed to Amplitude, Grafana or Hex.
Why it matters
The underlying query makes it possible to check how a specific figure in the dashboard was produced. Automatic updates may be useful for repeatedly monitoring metrics, although the source presents how they work as a claim by Anthropic.
