Air Bank is introducing Quick Navigation in the My Air mobile app, a feature that uses AI to direct clients to the screen they are looking for. It is located at the top of the main menu and accepts text and voice requests in natural language. A client can, for example, ask to find their own IBAN or contracts without knowing the names of the menu items.
According to the bank, the feature covers approximately 200 destinations. A clear request opens a specific screen, while an ambiguous request brings up as many as three options. Results are filtered by the client’s age and the services they have signed up for to exclude unavailable items. The existing tree menu remains in place. According to data from the bank, clients most often look for their own IBAN, QR code generation, contracts, payment templates and the option to view their card PIN.
Why it matters
Clients gain another way to access information and settings that may be difficult to find in an extensive menu. According to the bank, the intended benefit is less time spent searching for a specific feature; however, the source provides no measurements of time saved.
